Qualifications

• Completion of high school or a GED; a technical credential in diesel repair is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated history of working as a diesel technician or in a comparable capacity.
• Deep understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine architectures.
• Ability to analyze and utilize technical schematics and service documentation.
• Sharp analytical abilities and a meticulous approach to technical tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration within the shop.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve mechanical malfunctions within diesel engines and associated components.
• Execute scheduled maintenance and necessary fixes across our fleet of diesel vehicles and machinery.
• Verify that diesel engines are operating at peak efficiency and meeting safety standards through rigorous testing.
• Keep detailed documentation regarding all service tasks and repairs completed.
• Work alongside colleagues to help streamline operational workflows and boost overall productivity.
• Keep pace with emerging developments and innovations within the diesel sector.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all established safety guidelines.
