Qualifications

• 1+ year hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
• Comfort using computer diagnostic software and maintaining digital work orders.
• Must possess and maintain personal tool set for heavy equipment maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a dynamic shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair operational difficulties on diesel trucks, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles and rolling stock.
• Use diagnostic software and manuals to identify root causes of issues.
• Plan and schedule repairs, procure parts, and assist with write-ups and work orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and assist in training new mechanics.
