Job summary

Saia is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on Class 6–8 tractors. You will diagnose failures, repair mechanical, electrical, and system components, and validate repairs with post-service testing.

A minimum of 2 years diesel experience and proficiency in diagnostic software are required. Authorized to work in the United States and able to provide own tools is also expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Proficiency in diagnostic software.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain systems and parts on class 6–8 powered tractors.
• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, and system faults.
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation.
