Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Londonderry, NH is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You'll log diagnostics, use Penske tools, and help keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
Valid driver's license.
The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
The ability to work well as part of a team and outside.
Basic computer skills.
Understanding and compliance with Penske safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

Maintains vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
Logs, researches and completes repairs using Penske tools, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
Performs preventative maintenance and component lubrication, tire rotations, electrical/cooling work on gas and diesel engines.
Collaborates with manager to learn new skills via Penske's technician training.
Works on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
