Job summary

GRUBBS Family of Dealerships in Texas is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles to the highest standard. You’ll work in a busy, professional shop with state-of-the-art equipment and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Candidates must have diesel repair experience and strong diagnostic and mechanical skills on diesel engines and emissions systems. ASE (including diesel/medium-heavy) and/or manufacturer certifications are a plus, and owning a set

Qualifications

• Diesel repair experience is required.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills on diesel engines and emissions systems.
• ASE (including diesel/medium-heavy) and/or manufacturer certifications a plus.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, turbochargers, emissions systems (DEF/DPF/EGR).
• Perform advanced electrical, driveability, and computer diagnostics on diesel platforms.
• Complete maintenance, repairs, recalls and services to factory specification.
• Document findings clearly after multi-point inspections.
• Meet or exceed flag-hour expectations without compromising quality.
• Road-test to verify the concern and verify the repair.
