Job summary

Rush Enterprises seeks a Rush Technician to service commercial trucks across our Texas locations. You will perform repairs on engines and components, overhaul diesel engines, install parts, read job orders, and ensure safety compliance.

This role offers hands-on training and opportunities for advancement within a large, nationwide network. We require a high school diploma or GED and 5 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience in a dealership or similar truck service facility.
• Valid driver license with insurability per company policy.
• Prefer/Reward Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Read job orders and plan work procedures.
• Develop positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
