Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians for a fast-paced, customer-facing maintenance role in Loxley, Alabama. You will diagnose and repair light mechanical systems, assist roadside customers, and perform preventative maintenance to keep our fleet and travelers moving.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in various temperatures
• Safety and customer satisfaction first, complying with company safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
