Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Alabama is seeking Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components, and to assist customers with roadside services.

You will perform preventative maintenance, move up to 75 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and follow safety policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with light mechanical repairs and basic vehicle systems.
• Comfort with lifting up to 75 pounds and working in varying temperatures.
• Strong safety mindset and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
