Avis Budget Group is hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Sharonville, OH. You will repair and maintain cargo vans and box trucks, perform routine maintenance, and assist senior mechanics on complex repairs. This on-site role requires a valid CDL, 2+ years of diesel tech experience, and ASE certification.

You may travel to vehicles and drive Budget Trucks as needed. We offer on-the-job training, PTO, insurance, retirement plans, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License Class A, B or C CDL.
• At least 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment.
• 1 ASE certification (ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within first year).
• Knowledgeable in ASE areas: Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance.
• Must have complete set of tools for auto repair and maintenance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical tasks.
• On-site work requirement; not remote.
• Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, lubrication, tire repairs).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on cargo vans, box trucks, and other fleet vehicles.
• Assist experienced mechanics with complex repairs as needed.
• Travel to vehicle locations to perform repairs and get vehicles back on the road quickly.
• May drive Budget Trucks on public roads when required.
