Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to service vehicles and assist customers at our nationwide network of travel stops. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and support roadside services, while focusing on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role features a rotating day/night schedule, company-paid for DOT medical card, and opportunities for career development within a family-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
