Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our busy service team. You will diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist drivers and customers, and perform routine maintenance to keep vehicles and roadways moving smoothly.

Work in a fast-paced environment with friendly colleagues, interact with customers and drivers, and uphold safety policies. A rotating day/night schedule and Love's-paid DOT medical card support your growth and success.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing light mechanical issues on vehicles.
• Ability to assist customers with roadside services.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as part of routine service.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies and electrical systems.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in confined spaces and varied temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures for customer and team safety.
• Work a rotating schedule including day and night shifts.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
