Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to keep trucks moving in a fast-paced service environment. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance while keeping safety a priority.

Candidates must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and rotate between day and night shifts. Love’s offers tuition assistance, PTO, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with matching, and career development

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
