Love's Travel Stops hires Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on a fast-paced shop floor, while assisting customers and drivers to keep their journeys running smoothly.

You will perform preventative maintenance, handle various temperatures, and must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds. Love's covers DOT medical card costs and offers safety-focused work with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
