Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to join our fast-paced service bays. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical systems, assist drivers, and perform preventative maintenance to keep trucks and trailers moving.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Operate and service vehicles at a fast-paced travel stop environment
• Must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures
• Follow safety policies to ensure customer and team safety

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters; work in various temperatures
• Always put safety and satisfaction of customers first; comply with safety procedures
• Work rotating day and night shifts as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
