Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance for a fast-paced customer base.

Role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and adhering to Love’s safety policies. DOT medical card opportunities are provided and welcomed applicants will join an inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as described in the job functions.
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide safety-focused service.
• Provide preventative maintenance services to keep equipment reliable.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds and work in variable temperatures as required.
• Follow safety policies and procedures while delivering service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Operate in a rotating day/night schedule and prioritize customer safety.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
