Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is seeking Diesel Technicians to keep our fleet and roadside services running smoothly. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, interact with customers and drivers from across the country, and perform preventive maintenance and repairs.

This position requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and may involve day or night shifts. Love’s offers tuition assistance, paid time off, flexible scheduling, a 401(k) with 100% match up to 5%,

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Work safely and follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
