Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, helping customers and drivers by keeping vehicles in top condition. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform maintenance, and assist roadside services while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

The role includes a rotating day/night schedule, potential to obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s), and benefits like tuition assistance, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components)
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters; work in varying temperatures
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures ensuring customer satisfaction
• Operate on a rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
