Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues on trucks, interact with customers and drivers, and perform preventative maintenance.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with safety and customer satisfaction as priorities, and rotaing day/night shifts are part of the schedule. DOT medical card eligibility is provided and travel stops are central to operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Strong customer service skills to assist drivers and travelers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Lift 75+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
