Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Summerton, SC is seeking Diesel Technicians to join a fast-paced team. You will interact with customers and drivers, perform essential maintenance, and help keep our rest stops running smoothly.

You’ll troubleshoot light mechanical issues, assist roadside services, perform preventative maintenance, and comply with safety policies. The role requires lifting 75+ pounds and rotating day/night shifts; DOT medical card can be obtained with Love's support.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love's).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Always put safety and customer satisfaction first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
