Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventive maintenance to keep our fleet and customers safe on the road.

You’ll move up to 75+ pounds, work in varied temperatures, and follow safety policies to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires flexibility for rotating day and night shifts and offers comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters; ability to work in various temperatures
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
