Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Diesel Technician to join a fast-paced team, performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance while helping customers on the road.

Applicants must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and participate in a rotating day/night schedule. Love’s offers tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) with 100% match up to 5%, and comprehensive insurance after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, engine components)
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters; work in various temperatures
• Always prioritize safety and customer satisfaction following Love’s policies
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
