Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to keep our fleet on the road and operating safely in Warminster Township, PA. This role focuses on hands-on maintenance of vacuum trucks, pump trucks, roll-offs and specialty equipment, with autonomy and variety beyond routine PM work.

Diagnoses are done in the field and shop, and your experience will directly impact safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel, fleet, or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with medium/heavy-duty trucks and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, air brake systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and emissions equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and prioritize repairs to keep equipment operational.
• Respond to road calls and breakdowns when needed.
• Coordinate parts ordering and outside vendor repairs.
• Document repairs using Fleetio fleet management software.
• Support fleet reliability and safety initiatives and maintenance operations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
