Job summary

Paragon Leasing, L.P. in Dallas, TX, seeks a Diesel Technician to perform scheduled and non-routine repairs on trucks from Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner, and to conduct diagnostics and preventive maintenance.

You will work within Stevens Transport's Paragon Leasing facility, joining a culture focused on reliability and quality service. The role requires 1+ years of heavy-duty diesel experience, familiarity with telematics, diagnostic software, and basic computer skills, plus a valid Class

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
• Working knowledge of telematics systems and diagnostic software.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read and understand operating/service manuals.
• Valid Class C driver's license; ability to read/write English.
• Cummins or Detroit Certifications and Commercial Inspection Certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and non-routine repairs to fleet to meet DOT standards.
• Diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repair.
• Suspension and steering systems diagnostics and repair.
• Air and hydraulic braking systems diagnostics and repair.
• Electrical and lighting diagnostics and repair.
• Preventive maintenance and general shop upkeep.
