Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to help keep our demanding fleet on the road and operating safely. This is not a dealership environment with brand-new trucks and repetitive work.

We operate a fleet of vacuum trucks, pump trucks, roll-offs, and specialty equipment that supports essential environmental services operations across the region. We’re looking for mechanics who can troubleshoot independently, solve problems in the field and shop, and take pride in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in diesel, fleet, or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with medium/heavy-duty trucks and hydraulic systems.
• CDL preferred, but not required; valid driver’s license often needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, air brake systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and emissions equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on medium and heavy-duty trucks and specialty equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and prioritize repairs to keep equipment operational.
• Respond to road calls and breakdowns when needed.
• Coordinate parts ordering and outside vendor repairs.
• Document repairs and maintenance using Fleetio fleet management software.
• Support fleet reliability and safety initiatives as we continue improving our maintenance operations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
