Job summary

Ditch Witch Midwest is seeking an experienced field service technician to diagnose, service and repair our equipment at customer sites. You will use diagnostic tools to identify root causes and ensure high-quality work while maintaining a courteous relationship with customers.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, and proficiency with parts lookup software. CDL may be required within a 3-month grace period.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate degree preferred; 5–7 years industry experience for experienced applicants.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with software programs.
• Understand the utilization of parts look up programs, equipment manuals and service/repair manuals.
• Ability to read and understand electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Knowledge of mechanical practices and principles.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in a courteous and cordial manner and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose, service and repair customer and company equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to interpret error codes and determine root causes of malfunctions.
• Work independently and as part of a team to solve complex problems.
