Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to keep our fleet of vacuum, pump, roll-off, and specialty equipment operating safely. You’ll troubleshoot independently, work in field and shop settings, and contribute to a challenging, varied maintenance operation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing diesel engines and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating parts and vendor repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in diesel, fleet, or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience working on medium/heavy-duty trucks and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (CDL preferred, but not required).
• Experience with fleet maintenance software preferred.

Wind River Environmental is looking for experienced Diesel Technicians to help keep our hardworking fleet on the road and operating safely.

This is not a dealership environment with brand-new trucks and repetitive work. We operate a demanding fleet of vacuum trucks, pump trucks, roll-offs, and specialty equipment that supports essential environmental services operations across the region. The equipment works hard — and our mechanics do too.

We're looking for mechanics who can troubleshoot independently, solve problems in the field and shop, and take pride in keeping critical equipment running. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and hands-on work where your experience truly matters, we want to talk with you.

Requirements
