Job summary

Rhode Island Harvesting Company in Ashaway, RI seeks an experienced diesel engine technician to service and repair diesel-powered farm and construction equipment. Must have own tools and proven diesel engine experience.

You’ll troubleshoot, diagnose, perform preventive maintenance, set up new equipment, and keep detailed work orders. The role is full-time with overtime and a year-end bonus, health benefits, vacation, and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• Must have own tools.
• Experience as a diesel engine technician required.
• Repair and maintain diesel engine farm and construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment via inspections and diagnostic testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and set up new equipment.
• Keep accurate records of jobs performed and write up work orders.
• Full-time plus overtime and year end bonus.
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient computer use for diagnostics and inventory systems.
