Ryder System, Inc. in McDonough, GA is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician. The role offers hourly pay of $28.50 with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekends off.

Benefits include health coverage after 30 days, PTO from day 1, 401(k) match, and boot allowance. The position requires diesel repair skills, tools, and a CDL or ability to obtain one within 6 months. Additional incentives include quarterly bonuses, tuition assistance, and paid training.

Competenze

• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Routine preventative maintenance including oil changes, brakes and tires.
• Two years of classroom training and/or work experience in required areas.

Mansioni

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Ensures compliance with safety and DOT guidelines.
