Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Morristown, Tennessee, is seeking a Diesel Technician to safely operate, repair, and maintain heavy‑duty diesel trucks and equipment to keep the fleet reliable.

Starting pay is $25-$31 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and a 2pm–12am shift, Monday to Friday. The role offers 15 days PTO, quarterly tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days, and 401(k) after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep refuse trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
