Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring for heavy duty diesel truck technicians to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company-owned or leased equipment. Starting pay is $30-$40/hr with more based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Paid training is provided, with two shift options coming from 5am-3pm or 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include daily inspections, diagnosing issues, repairing hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension and PTO systems, plus

Qualifications

• Starting Pay: $30-$40/hr.
• Shift: 2 Options: 5am-3pm M-F (EXP Required) or 2pm-10pm M-F (Entry Level/Intermediate Exp Fine)

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
