Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Hilliard, OH, is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution team on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) then moving to evening shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM). The role involves completing repairs, maintenance, and maintaining service records in a shop setting.

The ideal candidate has engine repair experience, proficiency with diagnostic software, and a CDL with a clean MVR; a 21+ age and DOT/FMCSA compliance is required. Relocation is available, on-site work only.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred).
• Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.
• Locally valid driving permit.
• Must be 21 years of age or older per FMCSA rules.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
• Maintain own tools.
