Job summary

Bobcat of Akron- Leppo Rents is seeking diesel mechanics of all skill levels to support our rental fleet across our shop and field service. You’ll perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and servicing compact construction equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers).
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and get machines back to work quickly.
• Customer-first attitude and team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on compact construction equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems).
• Handle routine maintenance to keep the rental fleet ready to work.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
• Keep repair and maintenance records and manage work orders.
• Mentor and collaborate with teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental.
