Job summary

FCC Environmental Services is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician in Venice, FL. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems across trucks and heavy equipment, perform PM services, and troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or diesel mechanic certification preferred.
• 2+ years of diesel technician experience or similar role.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services on diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper repair and functionality.
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and issues.
