Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The role focuses on heavy-duty diesel maintenance, diagnostics and repair, with daytime hours and weekend-free schedules. Compensation includes hourly pay, certification bonuses and a sign-on package, plus comprehensive benefits and retirement plans.

The position requires basic tools and a HS diploma, with CDL-A preferred and a pathway to obtain within 6 months. A supportive team and modern shop equipment await.

Formación

• Two years of classroom training and work experience in mechanical repair preferred.
• Basic tools required and able to use diagnostic devices.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred with ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
• Conduct standard inspections and component repairs as needed.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identify root causes and perform required repairs to return vehicles to service.
• Interact with customers/drivers to understand the issue and task requirements.
• Adhere to safety, DOT, and company policies in all activities.
