Vanguard Truck Centers is seeking Diesel Technicians to perform repairs on diesel trucks in Houston, following dealership and factory standards. You will diagnose issues, order parts, document work, and ensure customer satisfaction with safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical training is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with ability to obtain CDL license.
• Must have base tools or obtain within 30 days; major tooling provided in house.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on diesel trucks per repair order with accuracy and efficiency.
• Diagnose malfunctions and communicate needs to parts and service staff.
• Document work performed on repair orders and maintain safety standards.
• Road test vehicles when required and coordinate with the service advisor.
• Assist in training apprentices and stay current with manufacturer bulletins.
