Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree-Technical School or two years related experience.
• Class A or B CDL, or ability to obtain.
• Endorsements: Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) or as required.
• Ability to pass medical examination.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all systems in buses and other assets.
• Work well in a team environment with others doing similar work.
• Understand performance of maintenance and repairs on gas- and diesel-powered vehicles and all vehicle systems.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and stations.
• Request parts needed to complete repairs and read technical drawings/parts catalogs.
• Communicate effectively with other techs, supervisors, managers, and customers as needed.
• Maintain efficiency, productivity and labor rate standards as directed.
• Learn new products and methods and potentially teach others.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
