Job summary

Bergey's Truck Center in Lebanon, PA is seeking an experienced diesel and gasoline engine mechanic to repair and maintain industrial trucks in accordance with dealership and factory specifications.

You will diagnose malfunctions, source parts with the parts department, test drive vehicles, supervise apprentices, and stay current with manufacturer bulletins. Valid driver's license and 3 years' related experience are required; pre-employment background checks and drug screening are conducted.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• 3 years related experience.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains diesel and gasoline engine industrial trucks according to dealership and factory specifications.
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Road tests vehicles when required.
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
• Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
