You will perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and may participate in training programs to enhance skills. The position requires basic tools, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a CDL within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred.
• Two years of training/experience in mechanical repair preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections.
• Performs preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Identifies root cause of basic failures and performs repairs.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Complies with safety, DOT, and MOT guidelines.
• Supports operations with service island tasks.
