Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain diesel equipment, perform inspections, and execute preventive maintenance to uphold safety and service commitments. The Tech B role offers a hourly hiring range of $33-36 with a $6,000 signing bonus and a clear career pathway.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; valid driver’s license; eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in accordance with safety policies and regulations.
• Perform maintenance tasks based on driver inspections in a timely manner.
• Maintain diesel equipment operation through inspections and preventive maintenance; correct issues.
• Troubleshoot problems and resolve them promptly; test drive vehicles when needed.
• Maintain records for all work and procedures; report issues.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures.
• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results to solve problems.

Education

High School Diploma or GED; valid Class A, B, or C Driver’s license
