Job summary

Truck Center Companies Isuzu Trucks of Wichita, Kansas, is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience who are interested in beginning a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician. This opportunity is part of the Isuzu Veterans Apprenticeship Program (IVAP), a U.S.

Department of Labor and GI Bill-approved Registered Apprenticeship program designed to help qualified Veterans transition into the commercial truck industry.

Qualifications

• Veteran status or transitioning Service Member preferred
• Honorable discharge or Statement of Service required
• Hands-on experience with diesel/automotive/equipment systems preferred
• Able to provide work references
• Clean driving record and able to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of Isuzu vehicles at the dealership
• Learn on-the-job under dealership service teams during apprenticeship
• Complete program-related apprenticeship and certification requirements
