Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores invites applicants to join the Diesel Apprentices program in Knoxville. You will learn electrical diagnostics, HVAC systems, wheel-end and charging diagnostics, basic computer diagnostics, and parts lookup while assisting customers and drivers from all over.

No prior professional experience required; we will teach you! The program offers structured hands-on training, a path to career development, and a schedule that includes day and night rotations.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; hands-on training provided.
• Must be able to follow safety policies and learn diagnostics and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Move up to 75 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
