Republic Services offers a Technician Apprentice program designed to train entry-level technicians in diesel and non-diesel equipment maintenance. The two-year program combines nine weeks of in-person training in Dallas, TX, with 22 months of on-the-job training across Republic’s network, including a potential advance to Level C Technician.

You will gain hands-on experience in electrical starts, air systems, hydraulics, wheel ends, and preventative maintenance, with mentorship and leadership

Qualificações

• Electrical diagnosis of starting & charging systems for diesel and non-diesel equipment.
• On-the-job training includes basic tire work, wheel end components with maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and basic electrical systems is developed during the apprenticeship.
• Training focuses on HVAC identification & inspection, air systems.
• Program includes leadership and life skills development beyond technical acumen.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Complete two-year apprenticeship with on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Attend 9 weeks of in-person training at the Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, TX.
• Advance milestones to Level C Technician as competency develops.
• Be willing to travel to Dallas, TX for training and relocate if required.
