Job summary

Bentley Truck Services, Inc. seeks a skilled diesel technician to perform advanced diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and comprehensive mechanical and electrical repairs on commercial trucks, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of diesel experience, strong knowledge of brakes, drivetrains, and electrical systems, and can work independently on complex systems. CDL is preferred, and training is available. Join our team for growth and stability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a diesel technician.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, brakes, drives train, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Experience with wheel end repairs, OEM brake jobs, major repairs, and box truck electrical systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred/training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on brake, clutch, HVAC, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and 5th wheel systems.
• Conduct authorized safety and emissions inspections ensuring DOT compliance.
• Diagnose issues and assist with drivetrain repairs including drivelines, U-joints, and differentials.
• Accurately document maintenance, inspections, and repairs on work orders and reports.
• Safely operate tools and diagnostic equipment while maintaining a clean work environment.
