Job summary

Bentley Truck Services, Inc. seeks a motivated diesel technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial trucks and box trucks. You will work on advanced systems, including drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and electrical components, to ensure safety and reliability for fleet and customers.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of diesel experience, ASE certifications are a plus, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Training opportunities and a supportive team culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a diesel technician for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, brakes, clutches, drivetrain, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Experience with wheel end repairs and OEM brake jobs; DOT regulations awareness is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on braking, clutch, HVAC, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and fifth wheel systems.
• Conduct safety and emissions inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Diagnose issues and assist with drivetrain repairs including drivelines, U-joints, and differentials.
• Document maintenance, inspections, and repairs on work orders with accuracy.
• Operate tools and diagnostic equipment safely in a clean, organized shop.
