Beltway Companies in Hagerstown, MD seeks a Full-Time Mid to High Level Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks. You will use advanced tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues and keep detailed repair records.

The role offers a signing bonus up to $6,000, a pay range of $25–$40 per hour based on experience, and opportunities for OEM/ASE certification and career advancement within a large Mid-Atlantic dealer network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diesel Technician.
• Diesel dealership experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, electrical components, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Responsabilités

• Use advanced diagnostic tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engine malfunctions to ensure peak performance.
• Perform inspections to guarantee safety and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to prioritize repairs and maintain efficient workflows.
• Keep detailed records of all repairs, services, and parts used, ensuring accuracy.
