Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Test-drive trucks and components, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor/Service Manager to inform customers of additional services needed
• Execute repairs under warranty per manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred but not required
• 2-year degree or certificate preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mentality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• CDL is a plus
