Job summary

DHT Group in Reese, MI is seeking mid-level and skilled diesel technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain Class 8 trucks and trailers using diagnostic tools and hands-on expertise.

Ideal candidates have hands-on diesel repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing safety and quality workmanship. We offer full-time year-round employment and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on diesel repair experience required or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining and repairing Class 8 trucks and/or trailers.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Electrical and electronic diagnostic experience appropriate to skill level.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software such as DiagnosticLink, Cummins INSITE, Bendix, or WABCO is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and make sound repair decisions within your experience level.
• Dependable attendance and strong work habits.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Perform engine, drivetrain, and transmission repairs.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic system problems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air and brake systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT-related inspections.
• Use diagnostic software and equipment to identify faults and determine necessary repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures.
• Perform truck and trailer maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to road service and emergency repair needs as assigned.
• Complete repairs safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

DHT is hiring Mid-Level and Skilled Diesel Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift at our Reese, Michigan maintenance facility.

We're looking for dependable, experienced technicians who know their way around Class 8 trucks and trailers and take pride in diagnosing problems, making quality repairs, and keeping equipment moving.

What You'll Do
