Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles (oil changes, filters, lubes).
• Inspect brakes, wheel bearings, steering, air systems, electrical system.
• Diagnose vehicles with diagnostic software and gauges.
• Use tools (hand, electric, pneumatic, jacks, hoists, welding).
• Replace parts as needed and close out Repair Orders.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Overtime may be required (>40 hours).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The Truck Shop - Truck Technician $5,000 Sign On Bonus!

Full time Technician with the ability to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty vehicles including trucks, trailers, buses, and vocational vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles to make sure they are running properly (i.e. oil changes, filter changes, lubes)
• Inspect various parts of the vehicle, including brake system, wheel bearings, steering mechanisms, air systems, and electrical system.
• Diagnose vehicles using diagnosing software and mechanical test gauges
• Use different tools as needed such as hand tools, electric tools, pneumatic tools, floor jacks, hoists, and welding equipment.
• Replace parts as needed to accomplish repairs.
• Ensure Repair Orders are completed accurately. Address Safety Bulletins and Factory Warranties as needed.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs are completed and the vehicle is ready for the customer to pick up.
• Overtime (more than 40 hours in a week) may be required as needs dictate
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
