Job summary

NAPA Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician to keep our diesel fleet running by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles. You will diagnose issues across multiple makes/models and maintain detailed service records.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered. Positions require 1+ years on Class 8 tractors (2+ preferred for advanced diagnostics), a high school diploma or GED, and relevant ASE certifications. CDL Class B+ and PA State Inspection license are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Diesel Technician certification a plus.
• Certifications listed include 609 A/C, ASE Brake, ASE PMI, Air Brake, Federal Inspector & Brake.
• Preferred: CDL Class B+ and PA Class 7 State Inspection License.
• 1+ years working on Class 8 tractors; 2+ years for advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues across multiple makes/models of diesel equipment.
• Perform maintenance on tires, wheel-end components, and suspension systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
• Repair engines, emission systems, ABS, A/C, and clutch/brake systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and safety systems (collision mitigation, traction control).
• Remove, repair, overhaul, and replace major assemblies and components.
• Install cab extenders, fenders, glass, and structural parts.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify performance and adjust systems.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Follow all company, federal, and state safety regulations.
