Job summary

Sapp Bros., Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician to service heavy-duty trucks and trailers across our network.

You will perform diesel repair and preventive maintenance while upholding safety and professionalism to ensure a positive customer experience. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, 1+ year in diesel repair, ASE certification preferred, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Must have basic diagnostic abilities for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other issues in semi-tractors and trailers.
• Replace and balance tires according to procedures.
• Conduct repairs or replacements for starters, generators, brakes, and U-joints.
• Complete work orders and communicate service needs with customers.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs, including tire service.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance the workforce.
